That sounds weird.
I mentioned in the last Musical Mayhem that I wasn’t really liking the software I was using, and I wanted to try to find a way of making my music sound better. To that end, I downloaded a couple of things and spent a while experimenting – so I do apologise that I’ve been pretty inactive blogwise while I’ve been busy doing that, but I hope it’ll be worth it because future Musical Mayhems should sound much nicer.
Anyway, here’s the first little test I’ve been doing with this new software: a piano arrangement of Royal Blood’s ‘Out of the Black’. Drums and piano are two instruments my previous software wouldn’t have been able to handle without making them sound absolutely shite, so hopefully you can hear that I’m now able to make things sound much more betterer.
First to benefit from this will be NekoJonez, since he’s next in line for Musical Mayhem, but I am sort of considering going back and remaking all the previous ones to sound a bit less MIDI-ish. We’ll see. Anyway, that’s what I’ve been up to, and I hope it was worth it!
