A Very Creative Christmas – Day 10 – Wardrobe Malfunction

We’ve made it all the way to day ten of the Later Levels Christmas Q&A! All the details of this awesome event are here, so why not get involved?

Our question for today is…

‘You’ve been invited to a swanky New Year’s Eve party but have nothing suitable to wear! Which video game character do you call to ask if you can borrow an outfit?’

Well, firstly I need to dispute the likelihood of me getting invited to a swanky party, but let’s just accept the premise and roll with it.

As everybody knows, I am very fashionable. Heck, I did a post about some of gaming’s best jackets which was surprisingly well-received given that I am secretly not fashionable at all. I might not know much about style in real life, but I can always think of someone from the world of gaming who’s better-dressed than me. Bearing in mind, though, that this needs to be someone whose outfit I can borrow, I don’t think I’ll be ringing up Ivy from Soul Calibur (how did I get her number in the first place anyway?!)

I just think she probably wears it better than I would.

I also need to make it swanky, if possible, so no Assassin gear, no Pokémon Trainer outfit, no spacesuit a la Commander Shepard and co.

What I need… is a suit.

A nice suit.

fancy suit.

And probably one that I can also move around in, just on the off chance that I might have to run away from the party due to unspecified but terrifying circumstances.

A-ha!

Now that‘s more like it. Any man looks suddenly much better in a suit!

Obviously I’m going to have to be a bit careful on the call; Agent 47 isn’t known for his friendliness, so I’ll have to phrase my request a bit carefully. I’m not sure we’re the same size, either, but I’m sure we can work it out.
